First P&WC Virtual Race for Centraide

The 3^rd annual P&WC run for Centraide goes virtual!

It is with great pride that we invite you to participate in abundance to the very first P&WC Virtual Run for Centraide. This event is innovated this year due to the current  circumstances. To make confinement more pleasant, we are offering a timed virtual race, open to the whole family to stay active, even while at home. Our Centraide campaign will received $15 per adult and $10 per child, respectively for each registration.

The virtual event will take place during the September 26-27, 2020 weekend. You can therefore pick your date, time, discipline and course which best suits your schedule.

Because the event takes place in each participant's neighborhood, we have added a cycling option. You can therefore plan for a timed family bike ride.

PARTICIPATION PRICES

Participation prices will be drawn from registered participants :

• 14 years old and under : 2 gift cards - 25$
• Global participation  : 1 gift card - 50$
• Registration - male : gift card - 50$
• Registration - female : gift card - 50$
• Best picture : gift card - 50$
• Participation - cycling : gift card - 50$
• Participation - walking : gift card - 50$
• Participation - running : gift card - 50$

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Step 1 | Register

Use the above button   Register Now  .  Start by selecting a discipline and distance:

• Walking: 1 km – 3 km – 5 km – 10 km
• Running: 1 km – 3 km – 5 km – 10 km et 21,1 km (half marathon)
• Cycling : 5 km – 10 km – 20 km – 50 km

Pay your registration fee by credit card:

• 13 year old and above: $18.50
• Child 12 and under: $13.50

Decide on the best time and place to complete your distance during the two days of the September 26-27 weekend.

Upload and install the free IYR Virtual mobile app (iOS et Android). 
Installation and usage instructions will be provided during the week prior to the event.

Step 2 | Run, walk or cycle safely

Outdoors : Running, walking or cycling must be done with security first in mind, while respecting the social distanciation measures: two meters between each individual;

Raise the challenge individually or with your immediate persons currently living with you only;

Do not create groups of participants;

Choose the streets of your residential area;

Do it according to your current fit level;

Be cautious at all times;

Step 3 | Consult the results

If you use the free IYR Virtual mobile app, which uses GPS tracking, your time and distance will automatically be recorded in the results database;

If you do not use the IYR Virtual app, you will have to submit your time by using a feature on the ItsYourRace web site;

You can monitor the progress of the event on the ItsYourRace web site;
